Terms & Conditions
Last updated 17 August 2026
These terms apply to any quote, estimate or work carried out by Seven Seals, a sole trader business trading from 18 Collison Avenue, Barnet, EN5 3DD. By asking us to carry out work you accept these terms.
1. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are based on the information and access you give us, including photos, measurements and a description of the job. Where we haven't seen the work in person, the price is an estimate until we can confirm it on site; the confirmed price is agreed with you before work starts.
Quotes are free and come with no obligation to proceed.
2. Scope of works
We only carry out silicone and mastic sealing work — removal of existing sealant, substrate preparation and application of new sealant, as agreed with you. Work outside this scope, for example tiling, plastering or general building, is not something we undertake, and won't be included in a quote unless separately agreed in writing.
3. Access requirements
You'll need to give us clear access to the areas being sealed, including removing personal items, furniture or fittings that would get in the way, unless we've agreed otherwise. Sealant needs a dry, prepared surface to bond properly, so please make sure the work area is dry and recent water use is avoided beforehand where practical.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel or rearrange a booked job by giving us as much notice as possible.
We'll always try to be flexible where something comes up unexpectedly.
5. Payment terms
Payment is due on completion of the work unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
Invoices for commercial or larger domestic jobs may be agreed with separate payment terms, case by case.
6. Workmanship
All sealant work is carried out to a standard finish appropriate to the substrate and product used. If you're not happy with a finished joint, let us know as soon as possible so we can put it right.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care to protect surrounding surfaces and fittings while we work, but please point out anything of particular value or fragility before we start.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
