This policy explains how Seven Seals collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or contact us for a quote. It's written to meet UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Seven Seals is a sole trader business run by Leroy J Wootton, trading from 18 Collison Avenue, Barnet, EN5 3DD.

• Contact details you give us through the enquiry form: name, phone number, email address, town or postcode, and details of the job you want quoted
• Correspondence if you email or call us with a query
• Analytics data about how visitors use this website, but only if you accept cookies (see our Cookie Policy)

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
• To arrange and carry out any work you ask us to do
• To keep basic records for invoicing, warranty and tax purposes
• To understand how people use this website and improve it, where you've consented to analytics cookies

4. Our legal basis for processing

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest — responding to enquiries you've made — and, once a job is agreed, on the basis of performing a contract with you. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

6. How long we keep your data

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to quote and complete any work, then for a further period to cover warranty queries and our legal obligations to keep financial records, normally no more than six years.

If your enquiry doesn't lead to a job, we'll delete your details within 12 months.

7. Who we share your data with

We don't sell your data. Enquiry form submissions are processed via our website form handler (Served Online / WebPulse) purely to deliver the message to us. If you've accepted analytics cookies, anonymised usage data is processed by Google Analytics. We may also share data with our accountant or, if legally required, with HMRC or the police.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data, where there's no legal reason for us to keep it
• Object to or restrict how we use your data
• Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time
